CONOR McGREGOR is back in the Octagon for what is being billed as one of biggest fights in history when he takes on Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 in Las Vegas.
Dana White announced the news last weekend during the UFC 25th anniversary press conference after McGregor was cleared of any criminal charges following his attack on Nurmagomedov’s team bus in May. Nurmagomedov (26-0 MMA, 10-0 UFC) and McGregor (21-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) will clash in the UFC 229 headliner on Oct. 6 in Las Vegas, bringing together a pair of rivals who have been chomping at the bit to get to one another.
